TIRANA, January 12/ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka stated today that on occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations, Albania will increase its level of representation in Kiev by opening its embassy in Ukraine.
“It has been 30 years since Albania and Ukraine established diplomatic relations as two countries that emerged from tyranny in the free world. Today, we are proud to stand by Ukraine as true friends on the right side of history. The heroic resistance of Ukraine is a fight for freedom and rejection of a return to the tyranny from which both countries emerged a long time ago”, said Xhaçka through a post on social media.
According to her, “This is the reason why Albania will support Ukraine and its people with the maximum of its abilities until it triumphs against Russia’s illegal war of aggression”.
“Albania and Ukraine belong to the family of free and democratic nations and both have a future in the Euro-Atlantic family. On occasion of this 30th anniversary, I am happy to announce that Albania will increase its level of representation in Kiev by opening its embassy in Ukraine. I look forward with pleasure to promote cooperation with my friend and colleague Dmytro Kuleba even further in the future”, said Xhaçka./m.m/j.p/p.s./
