TIRANA, Jan  5  /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Thursday that “Fiscalization is a success story with 100% of large business and 93% of small business now online 24/7, which means more transparency, less informality.”

Rama shared on social media the photo of a note taken during the marathon meeting with the government ministers.

Rama also wrote that declarations, wages and insurances have increased 7% in the private sector just from formalization, thanks to awareness checks.

Rama also underlined that foreign direct investments amounted to 984 million euros for the period January-September 2022, or 255 million euros more than January-September 2021.

Since January of last year, businesses that issue invoices to state institutions have been compelled to use the new electronic invoice system.

The second phase of Fiscalization, which includes cashless transactions between businesses (B2B), started to be implemented from July 1, 2022. Now these businesses must only issue electronic invoices.
