TIRANA, Dec 27 /ATA/ The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (ARDA) announces that work is ongoing for disbursement of subsidy funds for farmers who are eligible for the National Scheme.
ARDA informs that the number of farmers benefiting from the National Support Scheme for Agriculture 2022 has reached 45,745, while the value disbursed is 4.6 billion ALL.
This scheme worth 5.1 billion lek from the budget of the Albanian government is supporting various sectors of agriculture, while the focus is on reducing costs for farmers, with the aim of increasing production and developing the rural economy.
ARDA has supported various sectors such as beekeeping, basic flock, seeds/seedlings, construction of greenhouses, organic farms, cultivation of medicinal plants, farm automation, as well as oil support for mechanized works in agriculture, renovation of fishing vessels’ infrastructure and the establishment of markets for agricultural products.
