TIRANA, December 24 /ATA/ In the 11th month period of the current year, exports of goods reached the value of 447 billion ALL, while INSTAT said that the main trade partner for this period is Italy, to which exports increased by almost 38.6%.
According to INSTAT, the largest part of exports to Italy is occupied by the “textiles and shoes” group with ALL 124.5 billion compared with 97.2 billion ALL last year.
The exports of the group “construction materials and metals” to the neighboring country are calculated at almost 31.2 billion ALL, while the export of the group “machinery, equipment and spare parts” is calculated at around 18.3 billion ALL.
Exports of the “minerals, fuels and energy” group also increased, reaching the value of 18 billion ALL for the period in question.
Albania also exported food products to Italy, the value of which for the January-November period is calculated over ALL 10.4 billion.
Meanwhile, imports also increased. Referring to statistics, imports from Italy for the 11-month period are calculated at 188 billion ALL, from 175 billion ALL in 2021.
The import of the group “textiles and shoes” is calculated at 45.2 billion ALL with an increase of about 7 billion ALL. /p.s./
