PRISTINA, December 20 /ATA/ EU ambassadors approved the compromise text on visa liberalization for Kosovo ahead of final adoption by EU Council. EU brings Kosovo one step further on its European path.
Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union gave the news through a post on Twitter.
The expert on European issues Demush Shasha said that this is the last step for the current year and the step that closes the technical procedure for visa liberalization.
“The EU ambassadors just sealed the liberalization of visas for Kosovo. This is the last step for this year and a step that closes the technical procedure for visa liberalization. In the first months of next year, there remains only the formal vote in the plenary session of the European Parliament and the Council for Internal Affairs”, wrote Shasha. /KosovaPress/p.s./
