TIRANA, Dec 14 /ATA/ The UK Ambassador, Alastair King-Smith, met on Thursday with MPs of the Friendship Group the United Kingdom – Albania in the Albanian Parliament.
The meeting focused on the two prime ministers’ communique issued yesterday on bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.
Ambassador King-Smith informed that “the meeting also discussed how to tackle together our common challenges, including illegal immigration, security, prosperity and education.”
“I reaffirmed the UK’s support for parliamentary democracy in Albania starting in 2023 and we agreed on a program of parliamentary exchanges,” Ambassador Alastair King-Smith said.
