TIRANA, Dec 4 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Sunday that, based on the information so far, we have not started the process of applying the 800 kWh threshold for the month of December.
Asked in a livestreamed conversation with the citizens and the media about the price of energy and whether or not the 800 kWh threshold will enter into force, Rama said that, “we have been in communication every month. I believe that again this month on the designated day, in 2-3 days, the Minister of Energy will inform the public about our decision.”
Rama said that, “I believe that due to the rainfall, although never enough for the sake of truth, but very welcome, to the best of my knowledge, we have backed out of the decision to apply the threshold in December.”
“Yet, it will be the minister in charge that will share the detailed and official information with the public ,” said Rama.
