TIRANA, Dec 2 /ATA/ Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi, informed on Friday that on Tuesday, December 6, classes will continue as normal in all schools of Tirana.
In a post on social media, Kushi said that “due to repeated question “Will the classes be cancelled on December 6?”, I am repeating that on Tuesday, December 6, the teaching process will continue normally in all schools of Tirana.”
“The EU-Western Balkans summit, which will be held in Tirana on December 6, is an extraordinary and historic event for Albania. For the first time, all EU leaders gather in a country that is not a member of EU for a European Council summit. This is a great honor and token of high appreciation for our country, but there is no reason to cancel the educational process,” said Kushi.
Kushi invited all teachers throughout the country to share with students on this special day their insights about the uphill European journey of our country.
“Apology to all those who may have been misinformed by various media outlets, social media or other unofficial sources,” said Kushi.
