TIRANA, November 23/ATA/ A delicate heart surgery was successfully performed at the 2nd public Cardiac Surgery center opened at the “Shefqet Ndroqi” University Hospital.
Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu wrote in social media on the successful surgery.
Manastirliu said that the delicate intervention was carried out by dr. Albi Fagu, the cardiac surgeon from Germany who has joined the Cardiac Surgery super team at the “Shefqet Ndroqi” University Hospital.
“In this new unit, so far, there have been successfully performed 85 interventions of a high level of difficulty, which, together with the Cardiac Surgery Center at the QSUT, will meet the needs for cardio-surgical interventions in the country”, said Manastirliu./k.s/j.p/p.s./
