TIRANA, November 21/ATA/-Under the auspices of the chairwoman, Jorida Tabaku, the European Integration Commission reviewed article by article the draft law “On the Budget of 2023”, as well as the accompanying fiscal package, respectively the draft law “On some additions and changes to the law no. 92/2014, ‘On value added tax in the Republic of Albania’, as amended”.
In attendance at the meeting were, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Adela Xhemali, General Director of Macroeconomic Policies and Fiscal Affairs, Nikolla Lera, General Director of Macroeconomic Policies and Fiscal Affairs, Mimoza Dhëmbi, etc.
“The fiscal package was relatively small. Since there is time, and the Albanian stock market will be launched in December, it is necessary to foresee a special scheme for energy trading on the Albanian stock market”, Lera said.
The Commission approved in principle, article by article the draft law “On some additions and amendments to law no. 92/2014, ‘On value added tax in the Republic of Albania’, as amended”.
