TIRANA, November 10/ATA/ Democratic Party MP Edmond Spaho asked today in the Assembly to increase salaries, as according to him, promoting salary equality is destroying the state.
Spaho made the statement during Assembly session where there are being discussed the draft budget and fiscal package 2023.
Spaho commented on the increase in the budget presented by the Government, saying that the increase is possible because there are 500 million Euros in additional taxes and 5 billion Euros in debt.
“You are increasing the salaries a bit, but how do you increase them? If the budget increases twice, the salary fund must also increase twice. But, through raising the salaries according to your system, you are destroying the state. People pretend to work while you pretend to pay them like in the days of monism. And you have promoted equality. Almost everyone is paid the same like in Enver Hoxha’s time,” said Spaho./j.p/p.s./
