TIRANA, October 1/ATA/ The students enjoy more and more services with the Student Card, which facilitate students in their journey to knowledge. After the decision for free monthly bus ticket for students, as well as the 50% subsidy of the cost of dormitories, the municipality of Tirana signed a cooperation agreement with the Opera and Ballet House.
Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj said that it is very important that the services offered to students include such facilities as cultural activities.
“With the Student Card, we offer not only physical services at low costs, but also opportunities to attend cultural activities, which are for the soul and mind”, said Veliaj.
The mayor once again drew attention to the teachers’ protest, stressing that the suspension of classes does not serve the students, who risk losing another academic year. He added that the right time must be found for everything, but not now when the country and the world are facing the price crisis./r.e/p.s./
