TIRANA, Oct 20 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama responded Thursday to MP Agron Shehaj, who accused the State Police at the parliamentary session of staging a political attack on his business.
Rama said that “the building has been sequestered by National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT) with the support of the State Police and the decision for confiscation has been issued pursuant to the law.”
“MP Agron Shehaj has expressed outrage at the politically orchestrated police attack on his business, which the police has closed down to muzzle Mr. Agron! I ask and what I hear?! Mr. Deputy who cries out for rule of law has accommodated his business in an unauthorized building!,” Rama said in a post on social media.
“The building has been seized as illegal by IKMT with the support of the State Police and the order for its confiscation has been issued in accordance with the law. The MP with his business were found inside, while the owner claimed it was a hotel!,”Rama said.
