TIRANA, Oct 17 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Monday that the opposition only promises isolation from the world and on the other hand is immersed in rubles.
In a media statement after the meeting of the Socialist Party leadership, Prime Minister Rama said that amid this great threat, it would be good to have an opposition that fits in well with this context.
“The point is that at this time of great threat, when Albania is not an exception to this threatening context and when we have to cope with the repercussions of something that is beyond us and that lurches towards us, just as the earthquake and the pandemic hit, we need to be as clear and as determined as possible, as united as possible and as closely connected as possible with partners and powerful allies. It would be good to have an opposition that fits in well with this context, but unfortunately we have an opposition that only promises isolation from the world. On the other hand, it is immersed in the rubles. It is practically a disaster, both the activity and the way it acts on a daily basis give a hint that what we know is not all that should be known,” said Rama.
