TIRANA, October 12/ATA/ Prosecutor Deniona Katro of the Prosecutor’s Office in the Judicial District of Tirana was confirmed in office today.
The jury of the by the Independent Qualification Commission headed by Brunilda Bekteshi, with the relator Roland Ilia and member Pamela Qirko conducted the vetting process for prosecutor Deniona Katro. While Willem Brouwer was present in the quality of an international observer.
Katro faced the Independent Qualification Commission on Monday, October 10. Meanwhile, the Commission had completed the administrative investigation for Katro in all three re-evaluation criteria.
Deniona Katro started her career in the justice system in 2001 as a judicial police officer. In 2008, she was appointed prosecutor at Durrës District Prosecutor’s Office and since 2014 she has been working at Tirana Prosecutor’s Office, where she has also been in leading positions. /j.p/p.s./
