Albania condemns Russia’s so-called referendums in Ukraine

TIRANA, September 30/ATA/ Albania condemns the so-called referendums organized by Russia in Ukraine and will not recognize their pre-determined results.

Through a reaction on social networks, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs stated that, “Every annexation of the territory of a state by another state, which comes as a result of threats or the use of force, is a violation of the principles of the UN Charter and international law”.

Moscow held so-called referendums that are illegal under international law in four Russian-occupied Ukrainian regions of Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhia to justify their annexation into the Russian Federation./m.m/r.e/p.s./
