TIRANA, Sept 26 /ATA/ – By I.Vata/ The Democratic Party MP, Orjola Pampuri, stated on Monday that the anti-crisis package approved by the government does not benefit the citizens.
In a post on social media, Pampuri said that the government cares more about the propaganda rather than the value of such initiatives.
She emphasizes that “the pledge that the minimum wage will increase to 34,000 lek, i.e. 2,000 more than the recent raise a few months ago, which coincides with an increase of 6%, does not offset the 30-40-50% increase in prices of essential products since the beginning of this year.”
“With the 9.5% increase in pensions, the pensioners are unable to meet basic needs for food, health care, medications, given that healthcare is not free, and some of the medications on the list of reimbursable drugs due to the lack of safety are bought by them, it’s out of the question. The families belonging to the middle class find it almost impossible to make the ends meet in this period like no other,” she said.
Pampuri emphasizes that we have European prices, but the lowest salaries in the Balkans.
