TIRANA, Sept 21 /ATA/ -Prime Minister Edi Rama met with the European Council President Charles Michel in the margins of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.
“Meeting with European Council President Charles Michel in New York,” PM Rama said on a post via the social media.
Prime Minister Edi Rama is on a visit to the United States of America to attend the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. He is set to deliver a speech to the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
The UN General Assembly is the largest annual gathering of world leaders, civil society activists, private sector stakeholders and protagonists, and young people from all over the world to attend various summits, debates and dialogue in New York over a two-week period.
Earlier today, PM Rama also met with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan regional issues, Miroslav Lajcak.
A day ago, the government head also attended an informal lunch with Western Balkans leaders hosted by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell.
