TIRANA, Sept 20 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama posted Tuesday a gallery of pictures showing an ongoing National Cleaning Plan, a cleaning action launched by the government last year to keep the urban environment clean, as well as to raise awareness among local residents and tourists about maintaining cleanliness and health.
The government head extended gratitude to all residents and activists joining the national cleaning campaign, saying the action has already become a daily activity taking place in every corner of Albania and will go on unstoppably.
“Thank you each and every one for joining the national cleaning plan and together act for a cleaner environment throughout the country. The National Cleaning Plan has become a daily activity taking place in every corner of Albania and will go on unstoppably,” PM Rama said via the social media.
The National Cleaning Plan kicked off in the coastal city of Vlora last November and the campaign has kept expanding throughout the country since then.
The plan is designed to deliver not only on a cleanup action, but also on building a new management, funding, overseeing and cooperation system with the local government bodies and residents.
