TIRANA, Sept 15 /ATA/ – Cyber security was on the focus of a meeting between the visiting Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and the former Republican presidential candidate, Senator Mitt Romney, in Washington on Thursday.
In the framework of his visit to the United States of America, the Mayor of Tirana met with the Republican Senator, who voiced support for Albania.
“I had a great meeting with Senator Mitt Romney, a voice of decency in politics. Whether cities west in Utah or east in Albania, the challenges of cyber security are becoming ever so challenging, and need for cross-party response vital. I thanked Senator Mitt Romney for America’s unwavering support to Albania,” Veliaj said after meeting.
