TIRANA, Aug 29 /ATA-By I.Vata/ – The President of the Republic Bajram Begaj has sent an official letter to the Central Election Commission, requesting information on the decisions of the central election body on the announcements of the final results of the local elections in 2019.
The data on the 2019 local polls is part of the procedures before the head of state sets the date for the upcoming local elections in Albania due to be held next year.
According to the letter sent to CEC, the elections results are requested to determine how much time of term in office is left for mayors elected in 2019.
