TIRANA, Aug 24 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced that in the last 24 hours, of 1436 tests performed, 445 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Ministry of Health, 159 citizens tested positive in Tirana, 34 in Fier, 28 in Durrës, 24 in Shkodër, 20 in Lushnjë, 19 in Sarandë, 18 in Kavajë, 16 in Gjirokastër, 15 in Vlorë, 9 citizens each in Kamzë, Korçë, Elbasan, 6 in Tepelene, 5 citizens each in Rrogozhinë, Pogradec, Berat, Peqin, 4 citizens each in Mallakastër, Maliq, Kolonje, 3 citizens each in Lezhë, Kurbin, Krujë, Dibër, Patos, Himarë, Devoll, Kuçovo, Gramsh, 2 citizens each in Malësi e Madhe, Selenica, Delvina, Përmet, Këlcyre, Skrapar, 1 citizen each in Vau i Dejas, Pukë, Kukës, Vora, Bulqizë, Mat, Roskovec, Divjakë,
There are 3,704 active cases of COVID-19 throughout the country.
Currently, 21 patients are getting treatment at the COVID 3 hospital. In the last 24 hours, there was one fatality due to Sars-Cov-2: an 86-year-old citizen from Durrës.
Also, 404 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases at 318,804 since the outset of the epidemic.
