TIRANA, August 23/ATA/ In the domestic foreign currency exchange market, on Tuesday the US dollar strengthened its position against the Albanian Lek, compared to Monday, while the Euro lost ground.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the USD strengthened by 0.74 points and is exchanged at 117.86 Lekë, while the euro decreased by 0.18 points and is exchanged at 117.00 Lekë.
If compared to yesterday, the British pound strengthened by 0.35 Lekë, rising to the quota of 138.62 Lekë.
Meanwhile, the Swiss franc is exchanged at 121.97 Lekë, or 0.03 Lekë less than on Monday.
