TIRANA, August 20 /ATA/ Apart from Tirana and Shkodra, another Hemodynamic Unit at the Fier Memorial Regional Hospital offers quality and safety to all residents of the south who need heart interventions with advanced mini-invasive methods, saving lives.
Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu shared today in social media moments from a successful intervention carried out in this hospital.
“Turkish-Albanian staff at the Memorial Hospital consisting of Dr. Evrin Dagtekin, Behxhet Dangëllia and Ali Oktay successfully performed a delicate intervention on an elderly woman from Fieri applying a new technique introduced by the Turkish doctors”, wrote Manastirliu.
The minister emphasized that this year there were performed over 600 coronary angiograms at the Memorial Hospital for the residents of the south of the country, who already receive the service at the Hemodynamics Center in Fier, without having any need to come to Tirana. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
