TIRANA, Aug 13 /ATA/ According to data from the National Operational Center of Civil Emergencies in National Agency of Civil Protection, 20 fires have been reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the announcement of the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, the wildfires have been extinguished: in Mal Bardhë village and Skuraj, Kurbin municipality; in the place called “Pashallare”, in Tunjë village, Gramsh municipality; at the former brick factory, between neighborhood “No. 7” and neighborhood “No. 9”, of Durrës municipality; in the “St. Vasil” neighborhood, Himarë municipality; in the “Vanë” neighborhood, Delvinë municipality; in the place called “Gjimočik”, Vajzë village, Selenicë municipality; in the “Babicë” neighborhood, Vlorë municipality; in the place called “Pigave Mesovun”, Delvinë municipality; in Miliska village, Fushë-Arrëz municipality; in the village of Reç, Malësi e Madhe municipality; in the village of Arst, Fushë-Arrëz municipality; in the Rrethinat administrative unit, Shkodër municipality; in the villages of Plezhë and Shkjeze, the municipality of Vau-Dejës; in the place called “Rrashkullaj”, Malësi e Madhe municipality; in the village of Otllak, municipality of Berat; in Arrëz village, Dimal municipality; in the village of Kozare, Kuçovo; in Momël village, Kavajë municipality; in the village of Floq, municipality of Fier.
Same sources say that the fire-extinguishing operations in the last 24 hours have engaged 192 operational crews of the Fire Protection and Rescue Service, Army, municipal forces, police forces, employees of the Protected Areas Administration, forest service, volunteer force and 25 fire engines. Also yesterday, the FA helicopter was engaged in the operation at the place called “Pigave Mesovun.”
