TIRANA, August 8/ATA/ On Monday, at the foreign currency exchange market the foreign currencies strengthened their positions versus the Albanian Lek compared to the weekend.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the American dollar strengthened by 0.50 Lekë and is exchanged at 114.72 Lekë, while the euro rose to the rate of 116.81 Lekë, or 0.04 Lekë more than on Friday.
The positions of the British pound have also strengthened by 0.08 Lekë. The British currency is exchanged at 138.57 Lekë, while the Swiss franc rose by 0.11 Lekë and is exchanged at 119.70 Lekë.
Today, other currencies have also increased in value in exchange with the Lek.
