TIRANA, August 6/ATA/- Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj stated today that 210 low-cost apartments are ready for housing families who do not have the opportunity and ability to pay for the purchase of apartments on the free market.
Ibrahimaj said in a post on social media that the construction of these apartments has been made possible by the National Housing Authority through investments from the state budget.
Also, the minister announced that in Vlora there are about 75 families that will be accommodated, in Gramsh 40 families, in Maliq 25 families and in Kukës 70 families.
Low-cost housing is an alternative for housing all those families or individuals who are not in an economic and social condition to afford the offer of the free housing market or that of mortgage loans. The National Housing Authority comes to the aid of these families to ensure the purchase of apartments through an agreement in cooperation with two second-level banks, providing loans with easier and more affordable conditions.
In order to benefit from a low-cost apartment, the citizen must first fill out a form where he declares the housing, economic, social and health situation to the municipalities.
In the second phase, the application starts only after the municipality has selected you to be treated with a social housing program, in this case, a low-cost apartment built (or under construction) by the National Housing Authority. In order to be selected by the municipality for this phase, citizens must meet, in addition to the criteria defined by the municipality, the income criterion.
While in the third phase, the list of beneficiary citizens, approved by the Decision of the respective Municipal Council, is sent to the Regional Directorate of the National Housing Authority./p.s./
