TIRANA, August 5/ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Frida Krifca announced that on September 1, there opens the call for support from the National Scheme for new wheat planting.
Krifca wrote on social media that, “While we continue direct payments for all support measures of the National Agriculture and Livestock Support Scheme until December 31, 2022, now and with 500 million lekë more available for the oil support measure for farmers, which expands the range of beneficiaries, we will also open a new call of support for new wheat plantings, from September 1 to September 23, 2022.”
According to her, the agriculture team is on the ground to inform farmers about the guidelines and criteria to be followed for getting this support and how to apply for the new support measure for new wheat plantings with payments to be settled within the current year.
Also, Krifca said, support will be extended to fishermen and oil in agriculture.
The government recently approved an additional fund for the National Support Scheme in Agriculture and Livestock in the amount of 1.2 billion lekë.
According to the government’s decision, two new measures from the National Scheme of 2022 are also supported.
Measure 7/1 provides support for the cultivation of wheat, for planted areas of no less than 1 ha in the amount of 30,000 Lekë/ha.
Measure 7/2 support with 40 Lekë/liter of fuel for supply of fishing vessels from July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022.
