The municipality of Tirana continues to transform the Farka Lake area with the aim of turning it into a tourist destination.
The artificial lake of Farka was built in the 80s of the last century and is one of the largest lakes in Albania that has been used for irrigation.
The land around the lake of Farka covers an area of 11,000 m2 and a length of 760 linear meters. This area stands out for its biodiversity and attractive hilly landscape, as well as natural heritage.
Being very close to Tirana, Farka Lake is becoming an increasingly visited location, especially during the weekends./p.s./
