TIRANA, August 5/ATA/ MP of the Democratic Party in opposition Ina Zhupa presented today five questions regarding the incinerator in Fier saying that, “The theft of 430 million Euros shows at least that the government is a partner or it is profiting from this money”.
“430 million Euros for the incinerators that do not burn waste. There is a lot of question on incinerator in Fier. It is enough to remember that Klodian Zoto received 23 million Euros for work that was not done. A government that pays money in this form can at least be a partner or profit from this money. There was also received a loan on Fier’s incinerator, along with a sovereign guarantees of 69 million Lekë for salaries, while these salaries were paid with money from the state budget,” she said.
Among other things, Zhupa raised the question on the reason of Mayor Armando Subashi choosing a private plot of land for the incinerator in Fier, even though the Immovable Property Registry Office of the Municipality made available 10 public plots where the plant could be built”. /m.m/r.e/p.s./
