TIRANA, August 3 /ATA/ In the domestic foreign currency exchange market, on Wednesday foreign currencies strengthened their positions in relation to the Lek, compared to yesterday.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the US dollar strengthened by 0.67 Lekë and is exchanged at 114.60 Lekë, while the euro rose by 0.15 Lekë and is exchanged today at the rate of 116.76 Lekë.
The British pound also strengthened its position with 0.49 Lekë. The British currency is exchanged at 139.55 Lekë, while the Swiss franc depreciated by 0.16 Lekë and is exchanged at 119.59 Lekë.
Today, other currencies have also gained ground in their exchange versus Lek.
