TIRANA, August 2/ATA/ Head of Organizative Department of the Democratic Party in opposition Klevis Balliu stated today that the event in Himara is the second case in a few days that a boat comes out of the sea and hits the holidaymakers.
In a briefing, Balliu emphasized that, “This is not a sign of carelessness, but of public safety left in the hands of traffickers”.
“A 7-year-old child lost her life on a Himara beach a few hours ago. The Police press release classifies it as an accident. A speedboat driven by Arjan Tase, chief of the police station in Elbasan, hit and killed a little girl who was on holiday with her parents. The police can classify it whatever they want, but the case is nothing short of murder. It is a double assassination, due to the fact that a man paid and promoted to protect the lives of citizens, takes a life away,” Balliu underlined.
Balliu said further that, “The head of the police station of Elbasan Arjan Tase was dismissed from the ranks of the Police by General Director Nano, but this should have happened long ago. According to media reports, Tase was arrested 2 years ago, when he was the head of the Himara Police for collaboration with drugs traffickers. Those who allow drugs trafficking can also allow irresponsible drivers of motorboats and even be at the helm of vessels that kill people without hurting their conscience.
“We express our deepest condolences to the Avdia family who lost their apple of the eye. We ask the Albanians to face the truth of a puppet state, which emerges from the land and the sea, not to protect them, but to harm them”, said Balliu./k.s/j.p/r.e/p.s./
