TIRANA, Aug 1 /ATA/ – Albania’s Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka welcomed Monday the Kosovo government decision to postpone reciprocity with Serbia following close consultations with strategic partners, the United States of America and the European Union.
“Postponing reciprocity in close consultations with strategic partners US and EU is a welcome gesture of patience and maturity by the government of Kosovo,” the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka said in a statement.
Foreign Minister stated that” Kosovo has every right to exercise its sovereignty over every square cm of its territory.”
“All the perpetrators of the destabilizing acts of the past 24 hours must be held accountable for their criminal acts. We stand by Kosovo and we urge all our partners and allies to speak with one voice against the escalating rhetoric and threats of violence against Kosovo,” Xhaçka stated.
