TIRANA, July 21 /ATA/ Minister of State for Service Standards, Milva Ekonomi, speaking at the plenary session, assessed the opening of EU accession negotiations as the most important step in the country’s development.
Ekonomi pointed out that, “to carry out the tasks better, we need different work opportunities, we need other standards to follow to bring Albania closer to the big European family.”
She said that Albania has come to this point thanks to the completion of many works, the highlight is the Justice Reform, where everyone gets what they deserve, guaranteeing equality before the law, regardless of what role they have in society.
The two important international reports of the EU and OECD, Sigma, also commend the positive progress of the reforms, Ekonomi said, while underlining the fact that these reforms are delivering an impact on the positive performance of the public administration.
Also, Ekonomi continued, these reports value the work done by the ILDKPKI, which has conducted an in-depth investigation of 802 subjects and has referred 16 cases to the structures of the Prosecutor’s Office and the State Police.
The minister said that assets are declared electronically thanks to digitization that interconnects 55 state registers.
