TIRANA, July 17 /ATA/ – “OldTimer & Retro Fest 2022”, a cultural marathon taking place between the cities of Prizren, Kosovo, Durres and Fier in Albania, featuring also a stopover in Apolonia archaeological park, kicked off in the Kosovo museum city of Prizren on Sunday and will go on with a parade of the vintage cars along Vollga waterfront promenade in Durres and in the southern Albanian city of Fier.
A dozens of vintage cars owned by collectors from Hungary, Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia and North Macedonia will join the event until July 19.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted Sunday pictures showing the start of the marathon in Prizren.
“This annual event promotes not only vintage cars, elements of culture and music, but also the close relations between the countries through passion of collecting old vehicles,” PM Rama said via social networks.
