TIRANA, July 12 /ATA/ In domestic foreign exchange market, the European currency lost points on Tuesday in relation to the lek, equaling the US dollar for the first time.
Today 1 euro is equal to 1 dollar.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the euro is exchanged at 117.57 ALL, almost at the same value as dollar, which is exchanged at 117.51 ALL.
Today, the euro decreased by 0.50 lek, while the US dollar gained ground by 0.79 lek.
In relation to the lek, the British pound and the Swiss franc lost points today. Respectively, they are exchanged at 138.94 ALL, 0.49 ALL less and 119.30 ALL, 0.09 ALL less than the day before.
