TIRANA, June 16 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama informed that only in the period January-May 2022 agricultural exports have increased 41 million dollars compared to a year ago.

The Prime Minister shared on social networks the statistics published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Fresh vegetables are the most exported product of the food group “Made in Albania” with a rapid growth in recent years as a result of investments in greenhouses and increase in the cultivated area.

The increase of export revenues has significantly expanded the potential of agriculture in the most productive agricultural areas of the country such as Lushnja, Fier, Berat, while increasing exports spurred the growth of agricultural businesses, as well as investments in modern technology.
