TIRANA, June 9 /ATA/ The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on Thursday that in the last 24 hours of 485 tests performed, 65 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the press release of MoHSP, the positive cases have been detected in the following municipalities: 44 citizens in Tirana, 8 in Fier, 3 in Saranda, 2 citizens in Vlora, Korca, Berat, 1 citizen in Durres, Kolonja, Kuçova, Elbasan.
“There are 317 active cases of COVID-19 throughout the country. Currently, 4 patients are receiving medical care at COVID 3-designated hospital, while in the last 24 hours no fatality was reported due to Sars-Cov-2,” same sources say.
33 citizens have overcome the infection in the last 24 hours, putting the number of cured cases at 272,769 from the outset of the epidemic.
