TIRANA, May 11 /ATA/ The involvement of women in entrepreneurship is the highlight of the work of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
In partnership with donor programs, MoARD is working with women-run small and medium-sized businesses to assist them in training and promoting their businesses .
MoARD is implementing comprehensive programs for women in the field of agriculture and agro-tourism, which help them overcome barriers and ensure a sustainable growth of the activity where they operate.
In addition to technical assistance and various trainings, today government support programs have encouraged the involvement in entrepreneurship of at least over 30% of women members of beneficiary associations.
While 330 women entrepreneurs in the rural sector have benefited over 50 million ALL from financial support programs in agriculture. /a.a/sm/
