TIRANA, April 29 /ATA/ Herbert, a returnee from Vlora who has invested his savings in his homeland, is another example of success showing how with work and desire you can not only earn more than emigrate, but also create an economy for the area.
Prime Minister Rama together with the Minister of Agriculture, Frida Krifca stopped at this first “swallow” in Tragjas of Vlora, where soon thanks to the support from the IPARD II program, Herbert will build a collection point for the processing and marketing of agricultural products.
Herbert, a returnee who has worked in Italy and Spain in “food service” chain, comes to Tragjas and invests in his greenhouse. Here there is a space that will converted into a collection and processing point. It has been contracted by the IPARD program for the entire investment,” said Minister Krifca.
This investment will deliver an impact on development of the company and the entire area where the project will be implemented, as it will make it possible to increase the employment rate and consequently family income in the area.
Investments in this area, both in access roads and in irrigation ditches, have boosted agricultural development of the area.
Herbert currently exports his production to Europe and the Balkans, while his goal after the completion of the investment is to diversify agricultural activities and give a new economic impetus to the area and families whose lives are connected to the land.
