TIRANA, April 23/ATA/- Everyone can lose his job and may not be able to find a position that suits his profile or integration into the labor market is difficult.
For all those job seekers, there is a way out which is the Employment Program implemented by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the National Employment Agency.
There is a one-year employment program that aims to adapt the needs of unemployed individuals to the employer’s request by subsidizing them.
To hire these jobseekers, the employers are subsidized with funding up to 12 salaries.
To help people with other difficulties get started, this program carries also subsidies for transportation costs and attending dependent daycare or kindergarten.
For people with disabilities, the program also subsidizes workplace adaptation.
With 4-programs dedicated to the unemployed: employment program, on-the-job training and professional internships; self-employment program; community service program; as well as the employment program of unemployed persons as a result of COVID-19, the unemployed jobseekers have the opportunity to enter the active labor market.
Labor Offices intervene directly to promote and support the creation of new jobs through cooperation with employers and subsidizing them.
