TIRANA, April 17 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday congratulated the Catholic faithful across the country on the occasion of Easter.
“Good morning. Happy Catholic Easter,” said Rama, while sharing a photo of colorful eggs, a symbol of the Easter holiday.
All Catholics today celebrate the feast of the Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which took place according to the New Testament, three days after his crucifixion and death on the cross.
Although a holiday that falls on different days depending on the year and with differences between the Catholic, Orthodox and Jewish calendar, it remains one of the most important moments in the calendar of celebrations for Catholic believers.
