TIRANA, April 13 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ Parliamentary National Security Committee, chaired by Nasip Naço, held a hearing with the Intelligence and Defense Agency on the annual reporting of its activities for 2021.
The director of AISM, Colonel Ardjan Bali, was invited to report to the commission.
Regarding the mission of this structure, Bali said that the Defense Intelligence and Security Agency supports the directing and commanding authorities of the Armed Forces and the Armed Forces with intelligence in the field of Intelligence, Counterintelligence and Security, in fulfilling their constitutional mission.
Regarding the activity of AISM for 2021, Bali reported that “The scope of the work of AISM for 2021 has been the elaboration of annual strategic requirements for intelligence, monitoring the situation in the area with responsibilities of interest to our Armed Forces, preparation of information with strategic level assessments for the directing and commanding authorities of the Armed Forces and counterpart structures. ”
In his remarks Bali brought to attention implementation of all phases of planning and development of the Defender 2021 exercise, as one of the largest exercises conducted in our country after the ‘90s.
