TIRANA, April 11 /ATA/ Recent rain and snowfalls that have swept the country and especially those over the Drin River basin have significantly improved the hydropower situation.
Albanian Power Corporation informed on Monday that the inflows in the Drini cascade have increased reaching 605 m3 / s, while the production is 5400 MWh.
“Natural flows in the cascade are 605 m3 / s. The level of the lake of Fierza HPP is 272 m, while the maximum quota is 296 m. The level of the lake of the Koman HPP is 172.92 m, while the maximum quota is 175.5 m. The level of the lake in the HPP of Vau i Dejës is 73.87 m, while the maximum quota is 76 m, ” KESH announces.
Natural flows in the HPP of Fierza reached 450 m3 / s, in the HPP of Koman 140 m3 / s, while in that of Vau i Dejes, 15 m3 / s.
According to data published today by KESH, currently the daily production in the three cascade HPPs is estimated at 5400 MWh, while the energy reserve is 543 GWh.
