TIRANA, April 7 /ATA/ Director of Agency for Dialogue and Co-Governance Eridana Cano presented today the answers of the citizens to the question of the National Consultation questionnaire regarding the suspension of judges and prosecutors who abuse the law.
Question 10 was: There are people who say that judges and prosecutors who have not yet passed Vetting should be automatically suspended by the justice system if their decisions are openly against the law. Others say that suspension and exclusion from the system should be carried out according to the procedures in force. What do you think?
Regarding this question, Cano provided the result of the citizens’ answers: “Judges and prosecutors who abuse their office should be automatically suspended if their decisions are openly against the law. 74%. Judges and prosecutors who abuse office should not be suspended without an in-depth investigation 97,551 or 19%. I do not know how to judge on this issue, 33,080 or 7%”. /j.p/p.s./
