TIRANA, April 5 /ATA/ – Construction work is in full swing on all sections of the Tirana Big Ring Road for this major infrastructure project to complete on time.
Albanian Road Authority posted Tuesday images showing the newly-constructed sections of the ring road project and the ongoing construction work at the major building site of this important infrastructure project.
“Work is already underway on all sections of the North-Eastern Ring road to complete the project on time and significantly ease traffic in Tirana,” Road Authority said.
The 27 km ring road, set to complete in 2023, is aimed at solving the traffic problems in Tirana and is seen by the authorities as a major project as it will ease traffic flows and reduce congestion-related travel delays for cars and public transport.
