TIRANA, April 4 /ATA/ Lending to the economy has continued to grow at double-digit rates, despite rising inflationary risks driven by the war in Ukraine.
The loan portfolio for the economy at the end of February amounted to ALL 674 billion, the Bank of Albania announced.
According to statistics recently published by the BoA, the loan portfolio for the economy increased 10.9% compared to the end of February 2021.
The highest growth continues to be in the segment of households, where the portfolio is an annual growth of 12.8%, while for businesses the growth at the end of February was 7.8%.
