TIRANA, March 26/ATA/ “SK Tirana” has won the Cup of Albania in volleyball for men. It won the final game against “Erzeni” with the score 3-1 and won the Cup after 26 years.
Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj received today the team of the capital congratulating it and saying it is the year of “Tirana”.
“It is an extraordinary delight that the Cup of Albania in volleyball men returns to the white and blue flannel team after 26 years. Thank you. Our commitment has been worth it – we have a new leadership in “SK Tirana”, but we also have made new investments, such as “Fahrije Hoti” sports palace. The reward is got when boys and girls bring results. Investing is like throwing a good seed in the field – if you plough it, you will have a product. When you invest in both human resources and finances, the cups do not delay”, underlined the mayor.
Veliaj said that this result should be maintained not only in volleyball, but also in other sports like in football./p.s./
