TIRANA, March 23 /ATA/ Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, guaranteed on Wednesday the uninterrupted supply of power for all citizens.
“We guarantee and say without hesitation that energy will not be lacking. The government has undertaken to cover the increased costs of imports for households and small business. We have also protected over 7,000 businesses that are connected to the Medium Voltage grid. In these circumstances, we have taken the commitment to continue supporting these businesses, “Balluku pointed out during the meeting of the Energy Committee.
“We have been prudent with the purchases from import by making transparent the prices we are faced with in international market. The data show that this situation is under control. The whole company is ready to carry out the actions and operations it is charged with given that the functioning scheme has changed due to the emergency situation, ” the minister added.
