TIRANA, March 4 /ATA/ Improving the interconnection of operational systems in the Port of Durres, was the highlight of the meeting held between representatives of the General Directorate of Customs and the private management company at the Container Terminal, Mariner Adriatic.
The interconnection of the two systems will enable the increase of information security, the automatic exchange of data, their real-time reporting, the reduction of container processing time, cutting of red tape as well as physical contacts between operators, etc.
For the first time, private and public operators operating in this terminal will have the opportunity to perform all these actions automatically.
